ROCKOVERY RETREAT IBIZA 2020 @ Pikes Hotel
Apr 27 @ 10:00 am

ROCKOVERY RETREAT IBIZA 2020 @ PIKES HOTEL

from 10.00 hrs

lineup: A WELLNESS REVOLUTION – 3 Night, 4 Day Retreat at Pikes Ibiza

Rockovery is a unique, first-of-its-kind, look at the connection and balance of your mind, body, and spirit. It’s a holiday for the soul. A retreat back into the wild, the rediscovery of your inner light, a restart on your life, a rejection of bad habits, a rebirth of your true potential.

Rockovery
has been designed to be experimental, but not pretentious. We look at exploring connection to your own spiritual self, whether that may come through a gong bath in the Pikes Rockovery Dome, or though our visualisation and meditation work, or simply watching the incredible sunrise on our dawn nature walk. Rockovery is an eclectic journey of self discovery, fitness, island adventure and much-needed fun. It’s experimental, educational, a little bit cosmic and dusted with the unique Pikes attitude.

It’s a sophisticated retreat for rebels and Ibiza royalty. It’s a retreat done the only one way we know how: with a little bit of rock and roll, baby. There’s nowhere else on earth like it.

This year’s yoga retreats weeks will include a Sound Bath Session by Sound Therapist Deva Alchi.

Sound baths help facilitate a shift in ones brainwave state. Through frequency and entertainment with sound one can easily down-shift from normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha state (relaxed consciousness), while many people are able to reach theta state (meditative) and even delta state (where internal healing occurs). This experience is helpful for anyone who wants to give themselves a moment of relaxation or gain the benefits from meditation, but has not yet learned how to access on their own.

Deva Alchi: the sound bath experience is about letting the sound take you to a deeper place making it easier to come to a relaxed state without complicating how to get there.  Sound is the vessel and it allows you to explore and identify what a meditative state is and how it feels. Because of this, a sound bath is not only beneficial for beginners of meditation, a seasoned meditator will find as many benefits.’

The yoga retreat center, situated close to San Rafael, is one of the island’s most beautiful properties boasting spectacular sea views and sunsets

Yoga sessions incl: Asanas (steady poses), Pranayama (control of prana through breathing), Mudras (gestures), Bandhas (to lock and redirect the prana flow), Kryas (purification techniques), Dhyana (meditation techniques), Mantras (chants & prayers)

You will experience 3 hours of yoga theory classes a week.
Theory classes incl.: Introduction to Vedanta Philosophy, The Three Gunas, The four paths of Yoga, The 8 limbs of Raja Yoga, The Chakras, Basic Asanas and their benefits and the Ayurveda diet and life style.
