There is still summer to dance to the rhythm of Pacha Latino Gang. Pacha Ibiza and La Chapa, the largest urban party in the country, present a new date to write down on the agenda and say goodbye to the summer.

For those who do not know it yet, La Chapa is a concept of entertainment where the best urban music is combined, with entertainment shows, competitions and of course, great international artists such as those who are this September in Pacha Ibiza.

Bryant Myers, Latin American reggaeton and Latin trap singer and songwriter, is considered one of the first pioneers of the Latin trap movement and will be in Pacha Ibiza to enjoy his music. He has already collaborated with great artists such as Bad Bunny, Maluma or Nicky Jam and at 21, he is already recognized worldwide.
In addition, the Italian DJ Gianluca Vacchi repeats one more time, in the emblematic club of the cherries.

The final shot will be in charge of Ballesteros, a reference Dj of the urban genre in Europe, successful where it goes and Dj Del Puerto, La Chapa official Dj, to finish this unforgettable night.

* “Namaste Experience” has grown into one of the most popular and internationally renowned parties on Ibiza.
Born 20 years ago, the “NAMASTE Experience” takes place every Wednesday @ Las Dalias in San Carlos, in the north of the magical island of Ibiza. International artists, dancers from India, the Orient, South America and musicians from every continent perform under starlit skies.
An international team of creative artists, musicians, painters, photographers and djs, long time Ibiza’s residents, have come together and brought into being a new spirit of celebration – Namaste!
The “Namaste” gesture is a sign of greeting expressing respect towards others. As a usual gesture, the inside of the palms are joined together and placed on the chest, in proximity of the heart, with the head slightly bowed.
The significance of this gesture is: “I honor the divine spirit in you, which I also honor within me, thus knowing that we are one.”
This is the philosophy behind the Namaste parties

A TRIBUTE TO WOODSTOCK WITH FREE ENTRY FOR RESIDENTS

Flower Power Pacha Ibiza will celebrate this night with a tribute to Woodstock to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the iconic music festival held in the state of New York in the summer of 1969.

DJ Joan Ribas, the music director of Flower Power by Pacha, has put together a “Special Woodstock” night to enjoy the sound of the main acts of the phenomenal festival in which artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Jonis Joplin, Joe Cocker and The Who participated, in addition to the best tracks of emblematic bands of the 60s and 70s such as Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, The Doors and Lez Zeppelin.

«The Woodstock spirit has accompanied us throughout the summer every Wednesday at Pacha. On the night of September 18th we will celebrate this special musical tribute, as a farewell of the summer season. A tribute that we want all of the island to be part of, so all residents are invited to be part of it», informs promoters Made in Italy Ibiza.

Free entry for residents until 2am.
Doors open at midnight.

FLOWER POWER BY PACHA RETURNS TO ITS ROOTS TO BRING HAPPINESS TO IBIZA EVERY WEDNESDAY

The authentic hippy party where colorful and free-spirited characters come together to dance to eternal themes from the 60’s and the 70’s. This season we will celebrate every Wednesday the 50th anniversary of Woodstock and the real Ibiza spirit, spreading good vibrations among the crowd and the entire island.

All you need is love!

Dine and Dance:

This 2019 comes loaded with reasons to celebrate. Reasons that have to do with happiness, freedom and music! We will celebrate the release of Led Zeppelin’s first album, the creation of The Yellow Submarine by The Beatles, The Who’s first opera-rock, the movie Easy Rider, the union of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, the 39 summers of Flower Power by Pacha Ibiza and the return of Made in Italy to lead the artistic direction of the night.
Every Wednesday we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock and the great family that we are in Ibiza.

Flower Power by Pacha kicks off its thirty-ninth season with its special energy, to make the island dance in unison to the rhythm of the inspiring 60’s and fill Wednesdays with happiness throughout the summer.

New shows, new decoration and the genuine essence of the most representative party of dreamy Ibiza.
A symbol of community and fun, peace and love, dance and joy.
A symbol of everyone’s home: Pacha Ibiza!

Flower Power Pacha Ibiza: Peace, Love & Music!

Flower Power History
It all started back in 1980. Pacha had been open for a few years already but it was approximately by then when Piti Urgell – co-owner of the venue and together with his brother Ricardo Urgell – decided to create this passionate party that has become one of the earliest party brands in the island. Piti’s idea was clear from the beginning, he wanted to propel and promote hedonism amongst the crowd with an unusual music repertoire at that time: soul, pop and funk and other hits from the sixties and seventies.

Over the years, the Flower Power party has become an alternative to the night scene, professing those ideals of peace, freedom, sexual liberation and hippie culture through music and crazy entertainment.

Elements takes over Pacha’s Funky Room this Wednesday
Elements at Pacha Ibiza’s Funky room blends ancient and modern sounds with immersive visuals and poignant music.

from 23.45 – 06.00 hrs

lineup: Cassy ALL NIGHT LONG

CASSY will host 20 intimate parties in the hidden gem of Pacha Ibiza; the Pachacha Room.
All Night Long journeys deep into her lifelong love affair with music, plus some surprise guests along the way.

EXPRESS, DON’T IMPRESS!

Cassy’s first DJ gig in Ibiza was at Pacha in 2006. 13 years later she has come full circle to host her own event series at the club.

“The Pachacha was my favourite room to play in Ibiza last summer. A total hidden gem that you stumble across in the entrance courtyard, opening the doors to a secret party. Just the vibe I love, and a really special thing to find on the island. Playing all night can be such a rarity but is such a highlight as a DJ. The room is yours to take in any direction you feel. I had been looking for a place in Ibiza that allowed me to express myself fully across long sets, to play with no compromise and really show what I can do. This room is it!”

When Cassy first visited Ibiza in 1995 its hedonism and open spirit awakened something in her. “The same as when I went to New York for the first time, it left such an impression on me. The freedom of expression and open mindedness of Ibiza and New York in the 90s are energies’ I want to bring forward into the now, at Play House.”

A long-time resident on the White Isle, Cassy earned her stripes as a regular for some of the most admired party brands on the island including Carl Cox, Cocoon and Circoloco. “These gigs were important to my development as a DJ. They have enabled me to see the scene evolve in different ways in Ibiza.”

Cassy is a dynamic, passionate DJ with an encyclopaedic knowledge of electronic music history and a record bag to match it; she can dig deep in any given situation, bringing good vibes and contagious energy to the dance floor.

Come in and hang out, enjoy music, dance, sweat, listen, whatever you please. There are no expectations in the Play House, just an energy where anything goes.

Rising from the depths of the Mediterranean, onto the subtle sands of a tranquil Ibizan beach, enormous, golden masks signal the arrival of Claptone’s The Masquerade on the island.

Pacha Ibiza announce the launch of a spectacular event presented by the most recognizable – yet mysterious – entity in dance music: Claptone.

Brace yourself for the imminent arrival of the masked man’s Masquerade on the island, a marvelous night in Ibizan nightlife; promising magic, mystery and intrigue, within a supercharged environment of wonder. ‘The Masquerade’ is a place where one can live out their deepest desires, an extraordinary atmosphere, full of masked faces, complimented by some of Pacha’s world famous and beautiful costumed dancers, held every Monday throughout the summer. Commencing on Monday 27th of May and continuing weekly until 29th September, the new night will see some of the scene’s most adventurous DJs join in on the hedonism.

Originating in 2016, Claptone took his unique ‘The Masquerade’ show to select cities and venues around the Globe, from The Brooklyn Mirage – New York and Club Space in Miami, to his own arena at Tomorrowland, Belgium. Handpicking the featured artists himself, he has been previously invited the likes of Black Coffee, Pete Tong, Purple Disco Machine Claude von Stroke, MK and many more.

A unique figure in modern music, Claptone is like no other. Playing over 260 shows around the world each year, his idiosyncratic, spellbinding very own house sound has caught the attention of many, and his new Ibiza residency will be harbour to many more. With Claptone’s ’The Masquerade’ we are sure to add a new glamorous dimension to Pacha Ibiza.

As Claptone says “I am delighted to share this dazzling news with all of you today: Pacha Ibiza will be The Masquerade’s home for the summer!

With this, my very first Ibiza residency, a long-cherished dream of mine, finally becomes reality. I don’t think there’s any club in the world, with a history and impact like Pacha Ibiza has. Since the very first day, I have always felt very connected to the island. We have a lot in common, a deep love for the mysterious and the sensational – a natural fit for a man like myself.

The Masquerade at Pacha Ibiza will represent my vision of the perfect night out: house music and beyond, interpreted by a carefully curated line-up of unique artists that I admire, and that I feel share the same sentimental connection to music. I invite you once again into my world, this time bigger than ever.  A place where wonders are abound for those who trust in their imagination. The elaborate decoration and overarching experience will play a vital role. You are going to meet a collection of otherworldly – yet beautiful characters and dancers that will turn the place upside down.

I am looking forward to 19 unforgettable nights in Ibiza together with you, to present The Masquerade every Monday at Pacha, starting on May 27th. The line-ups will be unveiled very soon!

We promise magic, mystery and intrigue.
Do you dare?

Ibiza’s one and only true Hippy Party & Dance since 22 years, with RESTAURANT A LA CARTE, LIVE SHOWS & CONCERTS, DANCE TEMPLE, CHILL OUT GARDEN, PACHAMAMA SACRED AREA, STREET FOOD AREA, SALON BAZART

FLOWER POWER IS BACK! THE ONE & ORIGINAL WEDNESDAYS AT PACHA IBIZA

Over the years, the Flower Power party has become an alternative to the night scene, professing those ideals of peace, freedom, sexual liberation and hippie culture through music and crazy entertainment.

from 23.45 – 06.00 hrs

lineup: Cassy ALL NIGHT LONG

You’ll be setting sail towards the mystical Es Vedrà and Atlantis, two of the most magnetic and magical spots on earth. The performance artists will have punters entertained on board, while free drinks and free finger food will keep partygoers fresh and happy. After the boat, the disco bus will be headed straight to The Zoo Project at Benimussa Park, only 10 minutes away from San Antonio.

FLOWER POWER IS BACK! THE ONE & ORIGINAL WEDNESDAYS AT PACHA IBIZA

Over the years, the Flower Power party has become an alternative to the night scene, professing those ideals of peace, freedom, sexual liberation and hippie culture through music and crazy entertainment.

from 23.45 – 06.00 hrs

lineup: Cassy ALL NIGHT LONG

The Zoo Project is a very special daytime open-air gathering taking place in the beautiful gardens of Benimussa Park at Gala Night, the old abandoned zoo in the forest hills of Benimussa, Ibiza.
Enjoy one of Ibiza’s biggest and longest running underground events with live music, interactive performances and immersive stages in over 5 arenas. With a unique setting in an abandoned zoo venue, under the sun and surrounded by pine-tree hills in the middle of nature, we will keep the good vibes flowing each and every Sunday, as the Zoo crew invites friends and family to come and celebrate life and music like nowhere else.
Every week offers a first-rate selection of revered guest artists and of course, a lovely helping of The Zoo Project‘s very own beloved artists.

Expect many more surprises as you prowl through the Food Stands (showcasing a fresh juice bar, bbq, falafel, pizza, and more, to keep the beasts happy!), jump in the swimming pool, chill at the VIP beds and tables, have fun at The Mandala Market (our chill out percussion area offering live music and stands filled with a variety of crystals, feathered jewellery, tribal accessories mixed with professional clubbing fashion and super fun zoo merchandise like the hand fans or the DMT experience glasses, just to name a few), get fancy at The Beauty Bar (massages, body-painting), and dance around our 5 completely different stages until the end of the night, when it’s time to get inside our amazing indoor club The Rabbit Hole!

The festival is a must-do for island regulars and international visitors thanks to it’s hedonistic vibes on the dance-floors, family ethos, swimming pool, market and food stalls, holistic centre, hidden corners, secret gardens, VIP area and much more.
The Zoo Project creates a medium of forward thinking performance and sound, while welcoming the music stars of now and the future, including some of my favourite DJs. From the cosy vibes and the healing garden, to the utter madness at the theatre of rave – we are happy to share the authentic Ibiza experience with all our guests. As well as shifting to a new day we’re also bringing in loads of new features including the brand-new barbecue setup, new VIP area, and many other surprises! “IT’S A NEW DAWN, IT’S A NEW DAY and ZOO IS FEELING GOOD!”, We would like to invite all ravers, thrill-seekers and travellers, to join us at our ultimate Ibiza adventure!”, Adrian Browne – The Zoo Project.

The Zoo Project is a place where we are all equal – whoever you are & wherever you come from – we are all one, communicating and expressing ourselves through music. It’s a place where you can lose yourself and find yourself all over again in an instant, set to an unforgettable soundtrack.

FIRA DE LA SAL 2019 @ Ses Salinas, Sant Josep
Oct 26 @ 9:00 am

Sant Josep de Sa TalaiaFIRA DE LA SAL 2019 @ SES SALINAS, SANT JOSEP

details to be announced

The Salt Festival is celebrated in October and represents a new tourist and cultural event destined to promote local heritage and culture.

Organised jointly by the Town Council of Sant Josep, Eivissa Council and the Nature Reserve Ses Salines d’Eivissa i Formentera, the Feria de la Sal aims to pay tribute and to remember the people who worked in the salt-pans and to use a variety of activities throughout the day to promote awareness of the traditions which surround the manual extraction of salt.

The initiative is intended to reduce the seasonal nature of the tourism industry while introducing an additional attraction for both residents and visitors linking tradition and culture to tourism, with activities which are related with tradition and custom to produce greater diversification which will simultaneously allow people to approach the Nature Reserve from a different point of view.

HISTORY

Salt played an important role in the classical world as a preservative for foodstuffs and gave rise to the creation of the salt-pans by the Phoenician settlers who were major producers of salted fish, an activity which continues today. Salt has been the principal source of wealth for Ibiza, the income from which was the basis for the economy and permitted the existence of the university and the government administration, financing the building of the walls and towers for defence of the whole island.

DALT VILAFIESTA DE SANT CIRIAC – Saint’s Day Celebrations & Fireworks @ Ibiza Dalt Vila Patrimonio de la Humanidad

Full program to be announced.

18.30 hrs – Berenada Popular as Puig des Molins coinciding with the traditional snack of Sant Ciriac
20.00 hrs – Giant Paella
24.00 hrs – Great firework display from the wall of the Port Vell in Ibiza

During the first week of August, the town of Eivissa, dresses up, decorated with flags, parades and fireworks. For days people celebrate, honor and sing. Religion and traditions are mixed into several activities that form this great event. Eivissa celebrates the “Festes de la Terra“, the “fiestas of our land”, which revolve around the island of Ibiza and its history.

August 5 is the day of the patron saint of Eivissa, Santa María de la Neus, the virgin of the snows. Dalt Vila Cathedral is named after her.
It is about the celebration of the patron saint of the capital of the island, the great festival of Eivissa.
Three days later, San Ciriaco is honored and the Catalan conquest remembered, which was on this day in 1235.
Colorful parades fill the streets. There are shows, folklore and concerts in many places, competitions and exhibitions … and a lot to see.
The city also shows its respect for the significant background of the Fiestas. Many traditional religious acts take place. The day of the Catalan conquest is very important for the religious Ibizan since this is how Christianity and the Western world joined Ibiza and Formentera.
Before that the Moors reigned in the Pitiusas, and with them Islam.

August 8 symbolizes the beginning of a new era for Ibiza. It is one of the most popular holidays and begins in the morning with a ceremony in the cathedral in honor of San Ciriaco. Then a procession follows through the streets of all parish flags. It is a procession of historical importance, as the flag of San Lorenzo has been crossed for 200 years, being the oldest banner of the island.
The procession ends in the Plaza de España with a floral offering and a peasant dance next to the monument to Guillerm de Montgri.

In the evening the traditional “berenada or  picnic” takes place on the hill of Puig des Molins, which the Ibizan traditionally celebrate with cakes and other homemade food.

At the end of the day, huge fireworks light up the sky over Dalt Vila. The historical enclave shines for a few moments with an incomparable light.

Fiesta de Sant Ciriac, is an annual event that commemorates the Catalans regaining control of the island on the Moors.
Every year, local people and visitors come together to the Fiesta de Sant Ciriac, where fireworks, dancing, drinking, eating, music and joy can be enjoyed, as well as the famous watermelon fight.

The celebrations mark an event that took place on 8 August 1235.
In the 13th century, two Muslim brothers ruled over Ibiza.
The story goes that one of the brothers was stronger and more powerful than the other and his favorite wife stole from him.

To take revenge on his deceitful brother, the other showed an attacking army of Christians the secret entrance into the inner walls of Dalt Vila, after which a battle took place on 8 August 1235, in which the Moors were defeated and the Catalans regained control over the island.

Sant Ciriac
has been the patron saint of Ibiza since 1650.

Nowadays you can visit the place where the Christians entered Ibiza Town and follow the picturesque cobbled streets to the Chapel of Sant Ciriac,  in an alley of the same name, and built  in 1754.
The small chapel was built in honor of San Ciriaco or Sant Ciriac, patron saint of the Ibiza Town since 1650,  who fell in 1235 during the battle of Ibiza town. The chapel is a small room with a fence.
The chapel houses a statue of Sant Ciriac and inside, under the altar, one sees san arch, the beginning of the possible tunnel that a legend identifies as the entrance of the Christian conquerors guided by the hated brother of the Muslim sheikh. The tunneled entrance to the Sant Ciriac chapel is designed to mimic the arrival of the Christian army.

Nowadays coins are thrown through the arch for good fate.

FIESTA DE SANT CIRIAC – Saint’s Day Celebrations & Fireworks of Dalt Villa @ Ibiza Dalt Vila Patrimonio de la Humanidad
Aug 8 @ 10:30 am
