Major events such as: The Medieval Festival Ibiza 2020 and the International Music Summit 2020 are cancelled !!
The King of Spain announced a state of emergency from March 14th.
The Balearic government did a press conference March 13th, declaring:
“We close all places where we think there may be crowds, so public services will be closed and cultural events suspended.
On March 15th, 00.00 hrs – The Ibiza Lockdown was implemented and Ibiza residents were asked to stay at home until March 31st, in order to isolate the virus. On Sunday March 22, the PM announced that ‘due to the explosive increase in the number of infections, the state of emergency, for the second time, is extended by another 15 days (until April 26th) to counter the spread of the virus in Spain.’ The Spanish government expects live to slowly return to ‘normal’.
Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has announced a number of measures which will be applied in the WHOLE country, including Ibiza.
– Restaurants and Bars will be closed. But home delivery services are allowed.
– Retail trade activity is forbidden.
– Roads and Access points can be closed.
– ALL Education Centres will be closed.
– There will be a limit on the freedom of movement.

The King of Spain announced a state of emergency from March 14th.
The Balearic government did a press conference March 13th, declaring:
“We close all places where we think there may be crowds, so public services will be closed and cultural events suspended.
On March 15th, 00.00 hrs – The Ibiza Lockdown was implemented and Ibiza residents were asked to stay at home until March 31st, in order to isolate the virus. On Sunday March 22, the PM announced that ‘due to the explosive increase in the number of infections, the state of emergency, for the second time, is extended by another 15 days (until April 26th) to counter the spread of the virus in Spain.’ The Spanish government expects live to slowly return to ‘normal’.
Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has announced a number of measures which will be applied in the WHOLE country, including Ibiza.
– Restaurants and Bars will be closed. But home delivery services are allowed.
– Retail trade activity is forbidden.
– Roads and Access points can be closed.
– ALL Education Centres will be closed.
– There will be a limit on the freedom of movement.
One is allowed to:
* Leave home (once a week) to buy basic products and supplies.
* Visit Health Centers, Hospitals and Pharmacies.
* Go to work, if open.
* Go to the bank.
* Walk your pets.
* Visit or take care of elderly & dependet people or those with any disability.
Also you can visit Tobacco Shops, Veterinary surgeries, Petrol Stations and Technology shops.
* All businesses will be closed with the following exceptions:
– Supermarkets
– Pharmacy
– Petrol station
– Medical centers
– Telephone companies
– Private doctors
– Banks
*Airport services will be greatly restricted and reinforcedement of entry and exit controls has been implemented at ports and airport.

From March 19th the Ibiza Airport will see:
– 1 flight per day between Ibiza and Mallorca (Air Nostrum/Iberia)
– 1 flight per day between Barcelona (Vueling)
– 3 flights per week between Madrid on Wed, Fri, Sun (Iberia)
Be aware that one has to prove residency before boarding, and on arrival.
*All security services and the armed forces will be deployed to ensure the security of the lockdown.

We resume the activity of every Saturday, with some changes in which we all have to collaborate, with all the security and protection means for vendors and visitors, as you already know.
The use of a mask is mandatory in all the enclosure, keep the safety distance of 1.5m between people, do not concentrate in groups of more than ten people and do not forget to wash your hands with hydroalcoholic gel or soap and water!
For security reasons and vendor capacity, the distribution of seats is suspended on Friday and Saturday mornings until autumn-winter, we hope that these changes are temporary and that our flea market, your flea market, continues to be the social meeting point on Saturdays in Ibiza.

The route will be explained at the beginning, and you can then run AT YOUR OWN PACE (but with others, hopefully!). You can choose either 6.5k or 10k – both routes are flat. We do a warm up to start and a stretch at the end.

Discover Dalt Vila with the walking routes organized by Madina Yabisa
In this walk the archaeological remains conserved in Dalt Vila will be shown that allow to know the origin and extension of the city in ancient times. The archaeological importance of the site of Santa Maria Street will be explained, the vestiges of the Phoenician-Punic city that are preserved in the building of the Museum of Contemporary Art will be visited and we will discover other vestiges at the foot of the Renaissance wall.
From January 18 until May 16, the Madina Yabisa Interpretation Center organizes a series of walking routes to discover the historical, cultural and heritage values of Dalt Vila and its surroundings. These itineraries are free, will take place during the weekends and will occurf two times per month.
The meeting point is the Plaza de la Catedral (Cathedral Square), the tour will end in the Plaza del Parc and will last approximately two and a half hours.
All those interested can register through email madinayabisa@eivissa.es, or by calling the Madina Yabisa Interpretation Center (tlf. 971 392 390), from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 2 pm.
From the month of February, the following itineraries will also be carried out:

The City Council of Sant Joan de Labritja will organize a monthly yoga class, open to the public and free of charge, for about 50 students in the natural environment of the town during April, May, June, September, October and November 2020 Mireia Canalda.
The model and teacher of this sports discipline will teach these classes and will be the godmother and promoter of this campaign under the Natural Yoga Sant Joan de Labritja. A proposal that advocates for a healthy lifestyle and to spread the magic of the natural spaces of this municipality, located in the green lung of the island of Ibiza, outside the high season.
These classes will come to life on the third Saturday of each month from 11:00 in emblematic places of the town such as the Port of Sant Miquel, Cala Xarraca, Cala de Sant Vicent, Benirrás beach, Portinatx and Faro des Moscarter.

The King of Spain announced a state of emergency from March 14th.
The Balearic government did a press conference March 13th, declaring:
“We close all places where we think there may be crowds, so public services will be closed and cultural events suspended.
On March 15th, 00.00 hrs – The Ibiza Lockdown was implemented and Ibiza residents were asked to stay at home until March 31st, in order to isolate the virus. On Sunday March 22, the PM announced that ‘due to the explosive increase in the number of infections, the state of emergency, for the second time, is extended by another 15 days (until April 26th) to counter the spread of the virus in Spain.’ The Spanish government expects live to slowly return to ‘normal’.
Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has announced a number of measures which will be applied in the WHOLE country, including Ibiza.
– Restaurants and Bars will be closed. But home delivery services are allowed.
– Retail trade activity is forbidden.
– Roads and Access points can be closed.
– ALL Education Centres will be closed.
– There will be a limit on the freedom of movement.
One is allowed to:
* Leave home (once a week) to buy basic products and supplies.
* Visit Health Centers, Hospitals and Pharmacies.
* Go to work, if open.
* Go to the bank.
* Walk your pets.
* Visit or take care of elderly & dependet people or those with any disability.
Also you can visit Tobacco Shops, Veterinary surgeries, Petrol Stations and Technology shops.
* All businesses will be closed with the following exceptions:
– Supermarkets
– Pharmacy
– Petrol station
– Medical centers
– Telephone companies
– Private doctors
– Banks
*Airport services will be greatly restricted and reinforcedement of entry and exit controls has been implemented at ports and airport.

We resume the activity of every Saturday, with some changes in which we all have to collaborate, with all the security and protection means for vendors and visitors, as you already know.
The use of a mask is mandatory in all the enclosure, keep the safety distance of 1.5m between people, do not concentrate in groups of more than ten people and do not forget to wash your hands with hydroalcoholic gel or soap and water!

Walking route: Discover Dalt Vila > The shields of Dalt Vila @ DALT VILA

Discover Dalt Vila with the walking routes organized by Madina Yabisa
In this walk the archaeological remains conserved in Dalt Vila will be shown that allow to know the origin and extension of the city in ancient times. The archaeological importance of the site of Santa Maria Street will be explained, the vestiges of the Phoenician-Punic city that are preserved in the building of the Museum of Contemporary Art will be visited and we will discover other vestiges at the foot of the Renaissance wall.
From January 18 until May 16, the Madina Yabisa Interpretation Center organizes a series of walking routes to discover the historical, cultural and heritage values of Dalt Vila and its surroundings. These itineraries are free, will take place during the weekends and will occurf two times per month.
The meeting point is the Plaza de la Catedral (Cathedral Square), the tour will end in the Plaza del Parc and will last approximately two and a half hours.
All those interested can register through email madinayabisa@eivissa.es, or by calling the Madina Yabisa Interpretation Center (tlf. 971 392 390), from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 2 pm.
From the month of February, the following itineraries will also be carried out:
· ‘The streets of Dalt Vila’ (Sunday 9 and Saturday 22 February).
· ‘The bastions of the Renaissance wall and its restoration’ (Sunday 8 and Saturday 21 March)

After their much talked-about debut season, Octan Ibiza returns bigger and better than ever on Thursday, 7th May 2020 to kick start their second summer in Ibiza. Their opening party will be hosting all the key residents and new ones, plus some tasteful headliners that will bring those serious non-stop grooves we became accustomed to last summer. The season programming will see weekly residencies in addition, and will also be showcasing a series of special one-offs all summer long.
In 2019, the brand new club quickly established itself as an Island and cult favourite for those looking for a more underground and intimate experience. Octan’s Basement is the perfect underground space that gives you a raw and intense energy alongside it’s dark aesthetic, low ceilings and a world class sound system. The style is sleek and stripped back with low key lighting and immersive lighting all making it an atmospheric space of pure hedonism.
Last summer saw Octan host Apollonia’s first weekly residency, Planet Claire, which offered the underground heads serious sets from the likes of Nicolas Lutz, Traumer, Cristi Cons, Francesco Del Garda, Doc Martin, Anthea, Pearson Sound and many more. You also saw Steve Lawler return to the Island with his Warriors brand who had artists Enzo Siragusa, GUTI, Yousef, East End Dubs, Seb Zito, Darius Syrossian and more join them in the Basement.
New for this summer, the Terrace has been fully redone and improved plus there have been various stylistic renovations inside the club. What’s more, the iconic artwork that adorns the outside of the venue will be all re-done by a brand new artist this season – that will be the case at the start of every new summer.
The club will be open across a number of nights during the week, with special parties next to new resident brands all catering to the beat in cutting edge house, techno and minimal.
Keep your eyes peeled for the first wave of names, but be assured that Octan is set to be the most talked about underground venue on the White Isle this summer.

21st edition of the “Medieval Fair of Ibiza“, an unforgettable cultural and leisure event. 3 Full days with an extensive program of activities to experience a temporary trip to the Middle Ages: dance, theater, illusionism, craft markets, puppets, minstrels, buffoons, knights, princesses, princes, dragons and falconry, as well as typical meals … all in a luxurious setting, the walled enclosure of the old town, Dalt Vila.

Free weekly run every Saturday morning, so come and join us for this informal run.
The route will be explained at the beginning, and you can then run AT YOUR OWN PACE (but with others, hopefully!). ALL paces are welcome but you do need to be able to run/walk 5k without stopping (the advantage of running in a group is that you will be motivated to walk a lot less than you normally do).
You can choose either 6.5k or 10k – both routes are flat. We do a warm up to start and a stretch at the end.

Providing an Ibiza openings weekend solution with festival pass and accommodation packages to suit all budgets, Defected Ibiza Festival will kick off on Thursday 14th with a day party, followed by a pre-party and Defected’s opening night at Eden in San Antonio on Friday.
Saturday 16th will welcome the festival’s second daytime event followed by Classic Music Company hosting the night, closing the weekend in style with a pre-party, then on to Glitterbox Ibiza’s opening party at Hï Ibiza. All line-ups and further venue information will be released soon.

Bedouin presents Saga Ibiza…
Saga offers a new way of telling a story, in an enticingly beautiful yet dramatic way. Under Bedouin’s creative direction, SAGA weaves Ibiza Fridays into a mirage of musical odysseys that feeds the senses and elevates the collective experience. The infectious blend of music that has hypnotized audiences from all across the globe and that has become of somewhat a genre in itself, will now pulse every Friday at Pacha.
Since its inception in 2017, Bedouin‘s Ibiza residency, SAGA, quickly cemented itself as one of the island’s most revered parties, celebrated by locals and visitors alike. Pete Tong praised it as “one of the most successful season residency debuts of all time,” and last year SAGA garnered the best Ibiza night grant by DJ AWARDS 2019 in its 22nd edition.
This summer, expect a new immersive production and the extraordinary audio-visual experience that Saga and Pacha are known to offer.

Building a reputation as one of the most widely respected artists in his genre, his career spanning over 20 years has heralded a new wave of DJ’s and artists for the brand of House and Techno he proudly champions.
With his unique and distinctive style of DJ’ing, Carola transforms every single club he plays into another worldly experience, capturing the essence of hedonism.
At the forefront of Ibiza’s evolution over the years, from Pacha Ibiza they have led the way with their open music policy and continued search for diversity. Welcoming Marco Carola’s famous Music On parties into our 2019 schedule, is no change in policy for Pacha, a club renowned for unrelenting passion and bohemian approach to island life.
