Major events such as: The Medieval Festival Ibiza 2020 and the International Music Summit 2020 are cancelled !!
The King of Spain announced a state of emergency from March 14th.
The Balearic government did a press conference March 13th, declaring:
“We close all places where we think there may be crowds, so public services will be closed and cultural events suspended.
On March 15th, 00.00 hrs – The Ibiza Lockdown was implemented and Ibiza residents were asked to stay at home until March 31st, in order to isolate the virus. On Sunday March 22, the PM announced that ‘due to the explosive increase in the number of infections, the state of emergency, for the second time, is extended by another 15 days (until April 26th) to counter the spread of the virus in Spain.’ The Spanish government expects live to slowly return to ‘normal’.
Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has announced a number of measures which will be applied in the WHOLE country, including Ibiza.
– Restaurants and Bars will be closed. But home delivery services are allowed.
– Retail trade activity is forbidden.
– Roads and Access points can be closed.
– ALL Education Centres will be closed.
– There will be a limit on the freedom of movement.
One is allowed to:
* Leave home (once a week) to buy basic products and supplies.
* Visit Health Centers, Hospitals and Pharmacies.
* Go to work, if open.
* Go to the bank.
* Walk your pets.
* Visit or take care of elderly & dependet people or those with any disability.
Also you can visit Tobacco Shops, Veterinary surgeries, Petrol Stations and Technology shops.
* All businesses will be closed with the following exceptions:
– Supermarkets
– Pharmacy
– Petrol station
– Medical centers
– Telephone companies
– Private doctors
– Banks
*Airport services will be greatly restricted and reinforcedement of entry and exit controls has been implemented at ports and airport.
Many flight companies already closed services. and flights are being cancelled last mnute.
From March 19th the Ibiza Airport will see:
– 1 flight per day between Ibiza and Mallorca (Air Nostrum/Iberia)
– 1 flight per day between Barcelona (Vueling)
– 3 flights per week between Madrid on Wed, Fri, Sun (Iberia)
Be aware that one has to prove residency before boarding, and on arrival.
*All security services and the armed forces will be deployed to ensure the security of the lockdown.

After their much talked-about debut season, Octan Ibiza returns bigger and better than ever on Thursday, 7th May 2020 to kick start their second summer in Ibiza. Their opening party will be hosting all the key residents and new ones, plus some tasteful headliners that will bring those serious non-stop grooves we became accustomed to last summer. The season programming will see weekly residencies in addition, and will also be showcasing a series of special one-offs all summer long.
In 2019, the brand new club quickly established itself as an Island and cult favourite for those looking for a more underground and intimate experience. Octan’s Basement is the perfect underground space that gives you a raw and intense energy alongside it’s dark aesthetic, low ceilings and a world class sound system. The style is sleek and stripped back with low key lighting and immersive lighting all making it an atmospheric space of pure hedonism.
Last summer saw Octan host Apollonia’s first weekly residency, Planet Claire, which offered the underground heads serious sets from the likes of Nicolas Lutz, Traumer, Cristi Cons, Francesco Del Garda, Doc Martin, Anthea, Pearson Sound and many more. You also saw Steve Lawler return to the Island with his Warriors brand who had artists Enzo Siragusa, GUTI, Yousef, East End Dubs, Seb Zito, Darius Syrossian and more join them in the Basement.
New for this summer, the Terrace has been fully redone and improved plus there have been various stylistic renovations inside the club. What’s more, the iconic artwork that adorns the outside of the venue will be all re-done by a brand new artist this season – that will be the case at the start of every new summer.
The club will be open across a number of nights during the week, with special parties next to new resident brands all catering to the beat in cutting edge house, techno and minimal.

After consultation with our host venue Destino, it is with regret that we have to announce that IMS Ibiza will not take place this year and the 13th edition of the summit will be rescheduled to May 2021. We have been monitoring the situation closely, hoping for the spreading of the virus to stabilise and allow us to hold the summut, but unfortunately this is no longer a viable optiom. Originating in 2016, Claptone took his unique ‘The Masquerade’ show to select cities and venues around the Globe, from The Brooklyn Mirage – New York and Club Space in Miami, to his own arena at Tomorrowland, Belgium. Handpicking the featured artists himself, he has been previously invited the likes of Black Coffee, Pete Tong, Purple Disco Machine Claude von Stroke, MK and many more.
A unique figure in modern music, Claptone is like no other. Playing over 260 shows around the world each year, his idiosyncratic, spellbinding very own house sound has caught the attention of many, and his new Ibiza residency will be harbour to many more. CamelPhat, the Grammy-nominated DJs and producers duo with three platinum discs, will be headliner with a residency at the island’s most iconic outdoor club, where they will be accompanied by Solardo , another duo that does not lag behind in nominations.
The DJs will perform in one of the best daytime scenes in the world after the great success of their residency in 2019 at the neighboring club Hï Ibiza.

CamelPhat, the Grammy-nominated duo with Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala, will attract crowds next season. The duo are on a continuous streak of wins. Already seated on top, they continue to push house and techno music on stage and have exhausted tickets to major festivals such as Creamfields, Tomorrowland, EDC and Glastonbury, as well as tours that have taken them to venues such as Brixton Academy and Warehouse Project. CamelPhat has received Grammy and Ivor Novello Award nominations, partly due to more than 500 million views on various platforms and the fifth place in the Best 10 DJ rankings of 2019 by Mixmag. Beatport also named them the greatest artists of all time. CamelPhat will spend its summer between the recording studio – with its first album up its sleeve – and the Ushuaïa poolside stage, where they will perform in front of thousands.
Solardo, the stage name of James Eliot and Mark Richards, will again be wasting the same energy with which they closed their residence last year. Famous for being the driving force behind today’s British house culture, they accrue numerous awards for their various facets, not only as a DJ, but also as record labels and innovative future-looking producers. The remix of the iconic house song “Move Your Body”, created in collaboration with legendary producer Marshall Jefferson, has become a contemporary anthem and has set a record high for Beatport charts, keeping 46 days at number 1. Everything they touch becomes gold.
A good example is their song “XTC”, another of the most played tracks of last summer in Ibiza.

Ibiza has always been a special place for Rudimental, so they are back for another crazy summer at Ibiza Rocks Hotel this summer for an exclusive 9 week pool party residency.
From their first holiday to the island in 2011 (staying as guests at Ibiza Rocks Hotel!) to now a lot has happened in between. Sold-out tours, headline performances worldwide, starting their own festival and establishing their own record label, Major Toms they have truly become one of the biggest dance acts in the world.
In summer 2019 they smashed their Ibiza Rocks residency with a little help from their ‘friends’, just some of the biggest names from across the scene (as you do…). From long time collaborators Anne Marie and James Arthur, to good friends Gorgon City to J Hus, every artist who joined them poolside helped create some of the summer’s most memorable moments. Expect no less this year!
They may have played some of the world’s biggest venues and toured countries for days but whether it’s live shows or DJ sets, Ibiza Rocks always feels like home for Rudimental … and these guys know how to throw a party!
From house to drum & bass, Ibiza dance anthems to grime, their scope of music is HUGE and having worked with some of the biggest names in the game so is their friends list.
